Tuesday, October 14th, 2008

If you’re a fan of fuel-efficient cars as well as spa outings, check out The Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort & Club this fall. The Aventura, FL, property is currently offering the “Pamper Me Green” spa package.

What’s involved? Pick-up by a spa chauffer at Miami International Airport or Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in a 2008 Lexus LS 600h L.

When guests get to the property, they are checked in curbside and then escorted to the Willow Stream Spa for a 90-minute Balance Body treatment, which uses the aromatherapy blend of Vetiver, Cypress, Lemongrass, Ylang-Ylang and Spikenard oils to balance mind, body and spirit. The 90-minute treatment begins with an exfoliating foot ritual, continues with a hydrating body scrub with organic cornmeal, oatmeal and honey and ends with a full-body massage. After the treatment, a “green” lunch is prepared at Cascata Grille restaurant using regional and organic ingredients from the executive chef’s rare herb and tropical fruit tree garden.

Guests get to take home an organic cotton robe as a parting gift.
