At Anantara Golden Triangle Resort & Spa in northern Thailand, guests can now easily join in on the sport of Elephant Polo, thanks to the fact that the property has its very own on-site Elephant Camps. We hear that the Elephant Polo practice sessions involve a two-hour stint on a local clay court, which provides just enough time to get one’s stroke in place and to garner a basic sense of the rules of the game. It then all culminates with a one-on-one short game to get a sense of how the professionals do it.

The price includes Ground rental and set up charge for 4,000 Baht (net) plus two elephants for a one on one session for 16,000 Baht (net) or four elephants for two on two (or extended one on one sessions) for 32,000 Baht (net). The price includes elephants, equipment rental, insurance, small picnic and refreshments, and transportation to and from the ground.
